Welcome to Ranch Market
At Ranch Market, our journey began in January 1976, when Art and Judy Housley envisioned a community grocery store in North Napa, long before it blossomed into a renowned wine destination. Nestled at 4215 Solano Ave, our deli serves up an array of NY-style sandwiches and local delights, complemented by fresh bread from nearby artisans. Patrons rave about our hearty selections, perfect for a picnic or a quick lunch during their Napa adventures. With a commitment to quality ingredients and exceptional service, Ranch Market continues to be a cherished staple for locals and visitors alike, embodying the spirit of Napa cuisine.

Ranch Market! (no, not the Asian Market Ranch 99 ) Art & Judy Housley decided to start Ranch Market Napa in January 1976 with the vision to provide a community grocery store in North Napa before Napa became what it is today. There is also a Ranch Market in Yountville. The small market has everything you'd find in a smallish grocery market plus these extra Napa specialties: 1. Buttercream Donuts (local bakery) 2. Model Bakery Bread delivered fresh if you don't want to travel to the Oxbow or St. Helene for it (local) 3. Deli with sandwiches for a Napa picnic or a quick pick up at lunch break (sandwiches are ok) 4. Everything you need for a picnic basket in the wine country 5. Lots of wines and liquors to choose from (local ones too) 6. Tortillas and chips (decent brands) and salsa

Hidden deli here. Great for breakfast, lunch or a quick bite to eat. Bring your appetite

Nice little market in the Napa Valley that has a great deli if you want to grab some sandwiches before heading up alley. In addition to delicious sandwiches, they have a nice selection of salads and other food items.

Contrary to other reviews, I thought the customer service was great! Everyone was friendly, helpful, accommodating. I walked here from Hotel Indigo because (for some reason) they weren't doing breakfast. The breakfast sandwich was super tasty and a really good price ($6). Comparable containers, which I didn't expect. Coffee was high-quality -- they have an espresso machine back by the deli.

Ok folks, this is the first time ever in my yelping career but I am posting a retraction of sorts. Arik, the owner of Ranch Market corresponeded with me offline stating the legalities, or really illegalities of folks using the rest room there. The building is too old to offer public bathrooms or even let anyone but employees use it. I believe Arik in this instance. I just wish I would have known that previous to our little spat but regardless, the owner came to his defense and gave me a damn good reason hence this retraction. Thanks for clarifying things, Arik.

If you've had too much wine during your tastings (it's Napa, so no judgement from me), you need to stop by Ranch Market and grab one of their DELICIOUS sandwiches to help soak up some of that vino. They offer a large selection of options, including building your own custom sandwich from scratch. I've had their Hot Chicken and Ranch sandwich on multiple occasions, and it's great each and every time. Quality ingredients, including freshly baked local bread, make for a perfect combination and the result is a mouth watering sandwich!
